The ESSA Nebraska Slide Deck was created to promote awareness for the state ESSA plan. The audience included the U.S. Department of Education, Nebraska Department of Education staff, school administrators, legislators, and educators. The forward slanting lines indicate a state that is always forward-thinking and ready for the next step while the goldenrod yellow is meant to create feelings of happiness, cheerfulness, and excitement.
